Experience
Mechanical Maintenance Planner and Supervisor
Instituto Colombiano del Petróleo ICP - INARCON S.A.S
November 2022 - August 2023
After working as a reliability engineer, I had the opportunity to take the position of maintenance planner and supervisor, in which I was in charge of 8 technicians and my main tasks were to carry out annual, monthly and weekly maintenance planning, for which I had to determine the resources and personnel necessary to fulfill all maintenance orders in the designated time. Additionally, I became in charge of the industrial automation area where I had the opportunity to implement from scratch two test benches with OPTO 22 for the formation damage laboratory and crude oil laboratory.
Reliability Engineer
Instituto Colombiano del Petróleo ICP - INARCON S.A.S
July 2021 - October 2022
I started as a Reliability Engineer at the company INARCON S.A.S which was in charge of maintaining the facilities of the ICP innovation and technology center of ecopetrol. Among my first tasks and responsibilities was the determination of the critical spare parts to keep in stock for the main equipment of each of the ICP laboratories. Following this, he was delegated with the task of carrying out reliability strategies for the ICP pilot plants. This strategy consisted of identifying each of the equipment belonging to the plant, carrying out the respective FMECA analysis to identify critical equipment and determine critical tasks, optimize the maintenance plan or generate it if not available, to finally update all this information in the SAP-PM (Then I implemented a script to update the information automatically in SAP simply by filling out an excel). Simultaneously, I was learning about ICP's industrial automation equipment (Opto 22, Honeywell, Siemens), helping with its maintenance, repair, and development of control strategies. Also, during the time I was in this position I participated with the other reliability group in the analysis of the failures presented in the critical equipment of the ICP.

Interests & Hobbies
For me, reading is one of the best ways to learn, that's why for a long time I have made it my goal to read even a little every day. Generally I like personal development books, to learn soft skills beyond engineering. Lately since I started on the Rennstall student formula team, I have been reading about aerodynamics to contribute to the team. However, not everything is studying, entertainment is also important, that's why when I want to change a little I like fantasy novels, especially medieval ones, dragons have always caught my attention.
My dad has always been a car lover. When I was a child we watched Juan Pablo Montoya race on the weekends, all this made my love for cars grow and this was the main reason for studying mechanical engineering. For all car and engineering lovers, Formula 1 is a dream, and now I can belong to the Formula student Rennstall team. Seeing how a car is built from scratch motivates me more and more, although it is my first season and perhaps there is more that I have to learn than what I can contribute, for me it is like being in Formula 1 and that leads me to give my best of me. I will always be grateful for everything I have learned from my teammates.
Although when I was a child, I wasn't very interested in soccer, my brother was always passionate and dreamed of being a professional player, that's why he always made me play with him to have someone to practice with. Little by little I began to like football, although it has not been one of my best talents, I have always tried to improve over time. My favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo, and beyond football he has been an example for me, and he has shown me that perseverance and discipline is the key to being the best. Although for me soccer has always been more about fun and friends, during my bachelor's degree I got to play in the university's internal tournament, where we were champions with the mechanical engineering faculty team.
I like to be constantly learning, when I have free time I like to take courses on the internet or look for projects in which I can learn something new, for example this website that I made with html, css and bootstrap.
